Can I submit a payment for only my portion?
No. One person per group will need to be designated as the official contact person. She will submit the booking request with the deposit and will be in charge of collecting funds to pay the balance when due. Please DO NOT send individual payments for "your" part of the retreat.

For cancellations made at least 30 days prior to visit, deposit and payments will be applied towards a future stay within 90 days of the original reservation date. Retreats may be rescheduled only one time. If full payment has not been received, it will be required at the time of rescheduling.

What if I can't attend with my group as planned? Will I receive a refund or credit?
We understand that life happens, so we have a few suggestions if this occurs. Your spot is kind of like purchasing a movie ticket. You can attend the movie, sell or gift the ticket to a friend, or simple forfeit your seat. Although we can not offer a refund or credit for your portion of the stay, any of those options are acceptable. If your group really doesn't want a different friend to attend, they could offer to split the cost of your portion and reimburse you.

What if I don't have enough to make a group?
Several of our friends choose to have fewer guests in their group, so they merely split the full cost equally between those attending. If you would rather share that space with others to keep costs lower, I would be happy to post on our Facebook page that you are looking for new “retreat friends" to join your group. I will list the date, location and how many spaces you have open with you tagged as the person to contact. There are no guarantees of a response and you are still responsible for paying the full amount even if you don't have full occupancy.

What time can we arrive and what activities are there to do in the area?
All retreats are available at 9am on your arrival day. As for activities, shopping, day trips, etc... I would recommend doing a google search to find the best and most accurate info. Although I live in the area, I tend to be a homebody and don't keep up with the community events.

Where can we buy groceries?
If you don't want to venture into Somerset during your stay, and you are traveling in from Louisville or Nashville area, I would hit the Walmart at the Columbia Exit on the parkway OR the Kroger at the Russell Springs Exit. If you are coming from Cincinnati or Knoxville, you will be going through Somerset where there is a Walmart and 2 Kroger stores. We also have a small IGA 15 minutes away in Nancy, and Harris Grocery is only 5 minutes away.

Where are the closest restaurants?
There is a small family diner and a yummy pizza parlor that are 15 minutes away in Nancy. Although Mill Springs Pizza doesn't deliver, my hubby has been known to pick up an order for our RTC friends on his way home from work. Just 5 minutes past Nancy is Lees Ford Mariana, and they have delicious food and fabulous lake views. If you venture into Somerset, you'll find all the fast food options as well as a few sit down restaurants like Texas Road House or Sonny's BBQ. Again, for specific information, this is something I would google.

Where can we buy craft supplies?
We do have a Hobby Lobby in Somerset, which is way cool for our little Kentucky community! There is also a small, but decent selection of embellishments and craft items at the Mighty Dollar. If you are hooked on the YouTube videos for home decor made with Dollar Tree items, you will be able to shop your heart out at TWO Dollar Tree stores.

Do you provide any tools or machines?
I do not as I have found that most crafters bring EVERYTHING they need even when it isn't necessary. Remember girls, I am one of you and I know how attached we are to having our own stuff. This has also helped to keep the prices super affordable for everyone!
